The free version has never had Notes capabilities. The Notes from your Deluxe
version are probably still there, but access won't be unlocked until you pay
for the Deluxe version 8.

God bless,
Ellen

Hi All,

I can see a few people having 'notes' problems, but am I the only one
that has lost all my 'General notes' in the Family view. I have L7.5
Deluxe and downloaded L8 standard...the installer wanted to put it in
Program files, so I agreed, even though 7.5 is in 'C' drive. I then went
for the copy file to Program files option...is this where I made my mistake?

Thanks for any help,
Graham
