Cheryl, There is a really big difference between letting the programmers know that something isn't working and making derogatory comments about "this is the buggiest piece of software I have ever seen" or "obviously there wasn't enough testing done before this thing was released", etc.
Letting the programmers know that there is a problem with a function is helpful if it is done in a constructive manner. Making derogatory comments regardless of whether it is a program change that one doesn't like or pointing out "bugs" in a derogatory manner is negative commentary plain and simple. If someone discovers a problem, of course they should bring it to the attention of the programmers. However, the person doesn't have to be nasty about it as some have been over the past few days.
