Hi Pat,

There has been a change in how media are handled
in Legacy 8 which we discovered in testing could
change whether media was found even if it was all
in the same folder. This is especially true for
people who added some media many years ago.

Otherwise making sure that all the Media Folders
seen either at Customise 6.2 under View
Multimedia folders or at View - Master Lists -
Media Folders have the correct path can be enough
to fix all links in a file in Legacy 8/

For Legacy 8 to know where you keep your media
you need to set Options - Customise 6.2 to your
Media folder (or the parent folder if you use a set of sub-folders)

While you are there, check the View Multimedia
folders to see that all your Media really is all in one folder.

Then go to Tools - Media Relinker

You can restrict the Relinker to a drive but not
to a folder. It takes awhile but not forever. Go
and get a cuppa or stand up and stretch while it collects the list.

Is this what is giving the errors? I'm not sure
about that. I've only had trouble with the Media
Relinker when I've gone on to discover a problem
with a particular file that was crashing the
Media Relinker. I'm not saying there aren't any
other problems - just that I haven't seen any others since release.

I haven't seen your particular error. I wonder if
you temporarily move that folder whether that
would clear the error of creating the list?

Re the rebuilding of the Media List - If you
click YES, it will rebuild the list. If you click
NO, it will use the existing list.
