Am I right in thinking that media linking is, for want of a better word, not transitive. An image linked to a source citation then the source cited for an event does not result in the image being linked to the event.
A typical situation: I have a census image sheet which I transcribe and cite as a source for a census event and I link the image to the citation. This does not show up in the media gallery of the individual as an event picture. If I link the image to the event itself then it does show up. So my question is - have I missed a setting which allows the above scenario to link an image to an event via a citation or is it necessary for me to link to both the citation and the event?
