There are also language options on some of the chart reports that allow you to create a chart in another language while using the English version. This translates the headers and labels for the data to the selected language. German is one of those languages available in those charts.
The Pedigree, Family Group Sheet, Individual Report and the Descendant Chart all have a language selection. I checked those since they are the most likely ones you may want to send to your German relatives. If you want to create narrative reports then you will need the German version of Legacy since that will have the German terminology for the sentences. NOTE: None of the data you entered in English will be translated in any report or in converting to the German version so any English language Notes etc will still be in English in the narrative reports.
