This is normal whether imported from a GEDCOM or just added directly in Legacy. The default relationship to parent is blank meaning biological. You can change it to explicitly say biological, but I normally don’t bother. I normally only set a value for the relationship to father or mother if it is something other than biological (eg adopted, foster, etc).

Relationship to Father and Mother blank I imported a gedcom 5.5 from Family Tree Maker 2014. In cleaning up the potential problem of children not sorted, I noticed that when opening the Edit Children popup the relationships for each child was blank. Clicking on the ‘expand arrow’ next to the father or mother relationship would open the Master Child-Parent Relationship List with the correct relationship highlighted and checked. Only by un-checking and re-checking the Tag would the Relationship show on the Edit Children popup. This seems too strange to be normal or expected behavior. Is it?
