When I was looking at this the screens moved too quickly for me to notice that the Preview Button was greyed out. That does, then, sound as though the behaviour was intentional. Personally, I would rather have the option of making some Option selections or making one mouse click to open the Preview rather than have the Preview open immediately and perhaps have to close it, make my Option selections and open it again. I've never found myself thinking "oh I wish this Report opened straight away without me having to make yet another mouse click"!
