I actually thought it sounded like a 1 column Children view.

When all 5 slots are occupied, the is a plus sign (upper right hand side of the
children section) to add ...

Hi Dale,

It sounds like you have the children in a two column view which would give what
you are describing a 'left side' and a 'right side'. If you click (right or
left) in the white space in the 'Children' header you will get the option to
'Link to an existing...' son or daughter.

This same option should pop up if you click (right or left) anywhere in a blank
area/row of the columns and not on a child's name. My columns have 6 per side,
not 5, so we differ slightly???

Right clicking on a child's name gives you other options - including unlinking
from the parent.

Clicking in the side space outside the columns, either to the left or right,
will take you to the preferred child.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Unlinking/Linking

I am trying to follow the email from Michele/Support on 10/31/2013.

I have Version 8.0.0.397 and win7.

I was able to unlink the children and parents.

I linked 2 to the correct parents. This gave me a total of 5 which filled up
the left side for children.

I attempted to link another child. When I do a right click on a blank area on
any line I get options for that child.

If you do a left click on a blank area to the right of any child it moves that
child up.

How do I link additional children?

Thanks,

Dale
