Hi Ron,

You can't unset a direct line - what it is doing is changing who the
preferred child is in the particular families and each family has to
have a preferred child whether or not you choose to show who it is.

If you haven't set the preferred child either individually or by
setting a direct line that runs through that family, the preferred
child will be the first entered.

You can change a direct line by setting the direct line to someone
else. Each one set overrides the other when they intersect.

I set a number of direct lines and then return and reset my own
unless for a particular project I really want to go to a collateral
line when using the quick navigation.
