If you are syncing with a cloud service - like Dropbox - turn that off
when you are making a backup.

I am using Legacy 8 Deluxe program that  was installed Dec 28, 2013.
Yesterday I updated to the 8.0.0.412  build on my desktop and laptop.   I tried
creating a Back-Up Disk so  that I can restore and update the data info onto
my laptop

I am not able  to create a back-up disk on the desktop.  I feel I am
following the  directions on Legacy Family tree site and it just remains a blank
disk.   Previously you would get a "balloon" to click on to burn the info
onto the  disk.  I am not getting that now.

Any suggestions as to what I am  doing wrong?  Any help would be
appreciated.
