Hi
I am interested in the views of Legacy Users researching Australian families on possible ways to record within Legacy the information extracted from Australian Land Selection Records, with particular focus on Victorian Land Selections. For example do users create a separate new "Land Selection" event/fact or use the existing "Land" event/fact. Also, do users have just a single event/fact to cover the entire Land Selection process from original application to final ownership of the land or do they create a separate event/fact for each milestone along the way. Finally, I would be interested in views on how best to record the Master Source and Source Detail information for the documents within a Victorian Land Selection File held by the Public Records Office of Victoria, in particular those in Series VPRS 625 and VPRS 626 (Land Selection Files, sections 19 and 20, Land Act 1869).
