You would enter any particular Source in all the places where it
applies.  This might be only to one of the vital events (Birth,
Marriage, Death, or a Fact/Event or both.

Using the Birth Certificate as an example, you might use that as a
Source for the Individual's name and date and place of birth, for the
parents' names, the Relationship to the parents and also the Source for
the Event of Informant (or Registrant or whatever you might call it) for
the person who registered the baby's birth.

That's lots of different places to use the one Source.  You would enter
it once - directly onto the Source Clipboard, or attached to one of the
fields and then copy it to the Source Clipboard - and then paste it from
the Clipboard many times.

When you create a report, each of the fields where that Birth
Certificate is cited will have the same little number by it which
indicates the entry in the Source List, which will be the details of the
Birth Certificate which will appear just the once.
