Have you updated 7.5 since you've used those files? I think the message is wanting to update the 7.5 version to the later format in 7.5 rather than trying to convert to Legacy 8. You can't do that from within Legacy 7.5
If in doubt, make a copy of one of them and then open it again in 7.5, this time saying yes to convert.
