First of all, an 'upgrade' implies a replacement of what you've already got. Because it can be installed alongside Legacy 7.5, Legacy 8 should be regarded as a separate product. So, I would download the standard version for now and get to grips with it using copies of your own data. Then, when you're satisfied that it's stable enough for your use, purchase the upgrade and unleash the premium features. I would still not make Legacy 8 my main program until I was happy that the premium feature were at least as effective as their 7.5 counterparts.
