Brian, Thanks for working on my problem. Is there any file in Legacy that saves anything about ID Numbers like the usr files?
Or any chance the search for ID Numbers is also checking the MRIN or RIN numbers or something else? Or is the search stopping at the dash or something and/or calling all with some particular "character" a duplicate? I have scrolled through thousands of ID numbers and not found many duplicate ID numbers except for the Burleigh numbers being the same for everyone in "Generation # 10", etc. That is only small portion of the reported duplicates. I did find some Ancestry numbers in the ID Number field and moved them<G>. Jay On 3/11/2014 8:45 PM, Brian/Support wrote: > I applied the RINs preceded by "RIN-" to my database of about 5,000.
