You can also include your private text in brackets [[ ... ]]. This lets you
have a mix of normal and private info in the same field. There are options to
include the private info in reports when you want it.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Private/Hidden source notes

I want to put the source text into the source text. Some of this gets quite
long. I want it there for my personal reasons. I don't necessarily want it on
regular reports. However, I like to periodically run a pdf master source report
with everything in there, so that if I'm looking for something in particular, I
can do a text search and find it. Notes included.

I just upgraded from Legacy 6 to Legacy 8. I'm a little confused here on how to
do this because there is a conflict. Consider these two options.

1. I can check off in the Master Source itself to EITHER include on reports, or
not.

2. I can go to the Source Citation Report and select citation text and comments
as well as source citation text and comments.

The problem is that if I don't include it in reports under option 1, then it
doesn't matter if I have option 2 selected or not. It will NOT print.

If I do include it in reports under option 1 and then do NOT include it under
option 2, then it STILL prints.

In other words, what is the point of Option 2? It clearly doesn't matter what
you put in option 2 because it only follows option 1.

This makes me angry. I need to be able to very easily see all of it, or none of
it. I should not have to go through and make changes to each and every source
that I have ever had in my life.

Can someone tell me how to do this? I am very frustrated right now. I need to
be able to have the option to hide source text and comments, but then print
them if need be. How do I do this without going through each and every source?

Have I found a bug? I sure hope so!
