There is a problem report recorded for that. It has been fixed and in the next update to Legacy 8 you will be able to use the second colour set or the first colour set and Legacy will use either the 4 or 8 colours depending on which you have set in Set Ancestor Colours. You will not be able to use both the first and second colours at the same time though so if you set yourself for set 1 and your wife for set 2 then create a chart for your child only one of the colour sets will be used not both.
