Is it possible to copy events from one file to another?

Hi Dave, It is that simple – Drag & Drop. In Split Screen mode with the two files open you can Drag & Drop that person from one file to the other – and chose how much of the family you wish to include. You can chose descendants or ancestors – doing it twice to get them all, if you wish. If you are wanting to add a new person/family from one file to the other you can do that to. I have always entered the main individual in the new file, and then Drag & Drop to get the family. Making a backup prior to this undertaking is good insurance. I was operating in split screen mode between two Legacy databases. One database is for myself and my family. The other database is for a friend in the neighborhood. "And what to my wondering eyes should appear, . . ." but the same person in both databases. Is there a simple way to drag and drop from one database to another one? Or is the process more convoluted in that one must export from one and then import to the other?
