Each to his or her own, of course, but that doesn't make sense to me.
If a Pedigree Chart (for example) was sent to me in the mail I would not
cite the *envelope* it came in as the Source for data contained in the
Chart!  The Chart itself is the Source.  Likewise, a document attached
to an e-mail is the Source for the data contained in that document, not
the e-mail which carried it to me.
