If you installed Adobe writer after you installed Legacy 8 it is possible that Legacy 8 is associating any pdf with Adobe Writer. Try uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Reader to correct the Legacy Association.

When I attach them to the person concerned via the Media Gallery and try to open them from there they open in Adobe Acrobat Writer (5) which opens a message "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired:. I cannot stop it opening with the Writer (5) if I go b ack to the Folder itself it still opens correctly with Reader (10). I have run a File Maintenance but nothing changed. Help, suggestions please - I cannot find anything in the Help files so far. I am using Windows 7 and Legacy De Luxe 8.
