Arnold, If you used the verifed tag differently, it doesn't matter provided you've been consistent. I've hardly ever used it - but have understood it to mean that I've checked that the source says what I'm claiming it says (not that the content of the source is necessarily right).
I see it as an internal bit of information that I wouldn't print/share. But then I never add someone else's sources to my own file. I edit their file before importing (if I import at all - I'm more inclined to re-enter) so each Master Source reads "Jane Bloggs from xyz source". As I find xyz source for myself I add my own xyz source and (if I haven't already added a Jane Bloggs source) add a Jane Bloggs source to acknowledge her work.
