Michele, I just discovered the new update to Legacy, did that, and then tested the problem again. On my data base and the sample data base.
Note that I almost always work from the pedigree view, then click on the person to open, and then on Notes to add or edit them. Typing in "Test" and clicking the "x" or "Cancel" does not give a warning message and does not save the new data. I did get a strange, not the usual warning, with one unintentional test in the previous version. Apparently the problem is not fixed. I think that I got numerous messages from Brian saying it was fixed about 10 days ago, but I am quite sure I have deleted his messages. Please pass this on to Brian.
