This is a known problem on the Individual Edit Screen. The PP indicator will not go away on the event listing even if the event is marked as not a problem. It should not appear on the person in the Family and Pedigree view just when you are editing the person.
The problem, which you do not give, is probably a date error since quasi 1898 is not a recognized date format. The recognized form for approximate dates are about (abt) or Calculated (calc) or Circa (cir) or Estimated (est). Before and after are also allowed.
