Chris,
You can tell Legacy to sort marriages (and children and events) manually by
going to Tools > Other Tools > Sort Child, Marriage and Events Lists.

You can tell Legacy to sort marriages (and children and events) automatically
by going to Options > Customize > 2. Data Entry. Look at Option 2.2.

Subject: [LegacyUG] marriage order listing in index view

I have entered a marriage for my G grandmother for 1848 then at a later date
discovered she had been married previously in 1834 and entered this marriage.
As a result I get the 1848 marriage showing as marriage 1st & the 1834 marriage
showing as marriage 2nd in index view.
How can I change the order? Any guidance greatly appreciated.
I am running legacy 8.0.0.427 on win 7 64 bit machine.
Thanks,
Chris.
