Hi Bill, Not sure of the reason but I cannot link to the internet and Ancestry.com from Family Tree Maker or from the internet. But then I’m a new Legacy user having just recently switched from Family Tree Maker. At the moment I’m recovering from a failed hard drive with the new hard drive installed just yesterday. Only trying to use Family Tree Maker until I can get my media files scrubbed in Legacy as they did not transfer to Legacy so well.
So the bottom line is no I can’t get on Ancestry, not sure why, message in Family Tree Maker says I’m not online (not true) or firewall blocking – maybe so because I’m no computer expert by a long shot, but antivirus software does show Family Tree Maker as being allowed. So I’m unsure why but everything I’ve touched for the past few days, well you know how that is!
