to ensure it is seen.

I can't help you with the sources problem, but you're not the first
person to write in about not receiving the list mail. It seems to be a
common problem for some newly-subscribed members, unfortunately. You
need to contact Legacy Support for assistance with that - they should be
able to do something so that you get the mail.
