I still don't know whether you mean the sibling and child boxes or the pedigree boxes. You can get rid of the former by right clicking and unchecking to include these boxes. You can't get rid of the "chart" boxes.
You can increase the screen font but if you do, it increases for all views at Options > Customise - 10.1 With the minimum font set to 14 and stretch fonts, here is a link to a screenshot of my Pedigree View. You can't change the font size in the sibling and child boxes. You can change the font size of the "chart" boxes. You can separately change the font size of some views (Home, Descendant, Index) using the Zoom option under the Options button.
