The search should find everyone in your Family File who has no parents.

If you have multiple trees in the Family File (as shown in View > Trees)
then you can tag the tree that you want to use to find the missing
parents.  Do the Missing search and in the Search List go to Search > Show
all tagged and that will show the people who have no parents and are tagged
on the tag number you selected for the tree in View > Trees.
