I wonder if there are any spaces or line breaks outside of the privacy
brackets? That is, is [[ the very first two characters in the space, and
]] the very last two?

The first should be obvious at a glance. The latter might be a little
harder to see, but put your cursor in the text (anywhere, it doesn't
matter), and then hold down the Ctrl key and press the End key. That
will take your cursor to the very end of all text in that field. Is it
hard against the last closing square bracket? If not, tap the Backspace
key until it is.
