Pat, The AFN now appears on the individual's Information screen - down at the bottom.
Under "Descendant Narrative Book Report Opitions" there is an option "Report Options" - look under "Include" and make sure that "Ancestral File Number" is unchecked. This is likely the source of your frustration! Bob Austen From: Pat Hickin [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, August 08, 2014 12:20 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [LegacyUG] "Ancestral File Number" on reports I have created a descendant narrative report. With some individuals, immediately after giving the name, birth and death info and before the General notes, an ancestral file number appears: e.g. "Ancestral File Number: 39RD-LT." I know that some years ago, perhaps when I was using PAF, I had such a term. But the term is now meaningless to me and I want to remove all of them. But for the life of me, I cannot find that information in my file! It's not with alternate names or bdi info or events or notes or marriage info. So where is it so that I can get rid of it!!?? As always, help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
