answer it, though, Brian.

However, for the record only, I'm entering the sources by
clicking on the cute little books lined up beneath the name.
Using the basic source template.  From what I can tell, ONLY
the sources that imported from the PAF2 file stick.  No,
it's not read-only, because read-only won't let me type
anything at all, and anyway it DOES keep information added
-- an extra child, a date for a child, whatever.

However, I have a long and honored history of posting a rant
only to find next time I open the file whatever I was
ranting about fixed itself just to spite me.  I was sort of
assuming this would too?
