Hi Doug, I often find the Microfilm/Fiche option a good one. In place of the Film series you can put online images at xyz website or something. eg I'll put images courtesy the Dorset History Centre and Ancestry.com Take a look at the Books template and when you get to the type choose Microfilm This form also allows you to enter the repository of the Original as well as the Repository you used - in this case Google Books.
The SourceWriter makes it easier to be consistent on how you enter a source, once you find a suitable template. But you don't have to use every field and you can be a bit creative. Basic Sources require a different kind of effort - and more knowledge of how to format sources. I mostly add new sources as SourceWriter sources but have just been showing people how to enter the FamilySearch source as shown as a Basic Source by copying and pasting the relevant bits into the Basic Master Source and then the rest into the Basic Source Detail.
