I found the link to search the archive of emails, so that takes care of the question about a forum.
Unfortunately, I also found the answer to my question about custom source templates. *sigh* I've been trying to decide between Legacy and Roots Magic as my new "home" now that TMG is being discontinued, and just last night I settled on Legacy. I love so much about the program, but not being able to create custom source templates is a deal breaker for me. I have many Irish census records and Griffith's Valuation records that will be so much easier to use with a custom template. Yes, I'm sure I could make do with another template, but it is a headache.
