Olwyn, The Source List Name which is what I think you mean by "Source Title" since you talk about starting with a place - which is what Geoff does - is just for you to help you find the Master source again and keep them in some logical order. If you (not others like me who don't know all the US States and Canadian Provinces) need the country to identify that Ohio is in the USA and not in Canada or elsewhere, then put it in, if not, don't. I don't start the Source List Name with the place at all since I have very little USA research and the place down to US county level is not so important or not important at all as that's not where the records I use are kept. I start the Source List Name with the Source Type and then mention the country or place later. The Source List Name is for you only unless you use Basic Sources and are very lazy and use it as the Source Title - in which case either your Master Source list isn't nicely ordered or the Source Title isn't properly formatted.
