Ok - the current mailing address is added for the individual or couple
(I just add it to the husband and enter "Mr & Mrs...."

Historical Residence addresses are added as Residence Events. I enter
the street address in the Description field, date has the date range
of when they lived there and Place is the city, county, state, country

That way you can sort all residences together by name or in
chronological order (options button on the right of the list)
