I am not familiar with how updates work.  It doesn't sound like emails
are sent notifying they are released or you get an update automatically
they way you do from Adobe, say.  Are we just supposed to periodically
check using the methods you describe below?
Thanks,
Barton

It will be a simple download, just a regular update.  I can't say for
sure when it will be released.  The beta testers have the test build
now. As soon as the programmers are happy with the feedback they are
getting they will release it to everyone. You will be able to see when
the update is released by clicking on the Legacy Home tab or checking

When is that update expected?  Will it be a simple download?

Barton,
There is a known issue related to adding repositories that has already
been fixed by the programmers and the fix will appear in the next
update.

Subject: [LegacyUG] can't add repository

I am trying to create a source for a will.  I am using the Source Writer
and this is the template I have selected:

Probate records (wills, estates, etc.) > bound volumes > created at
state/province/colony level > basic format, records removed to state
archives

When I get to the Repository field and click on the blue + sign to add
the repository, after I type in Name, Address, City, State/Prov, Postal
Code, and Phone Number, and then click Save, it freezes up on me.  There
is the audible ring tone and then the screen is frozen and I cannot
click on anything to save or cancel.  I have to choose end task on the
task manager to proceed.  Does anyone have any idea why this happens?

Thanks,

Barton
