Hi Charles, Web pages that open inside Legacy use an IE engine. This cannot be changed. I also get the warning (and errors) using Win 8.1 and IE 11. This will happen until/unless the programmers update the IE engine being used.
Web pages that are launched from inside Legacy but open in a separate browser open in your default browser - or the browser you nominate in Options - Customise - Launch - In Legacy 8 it's option 11.1. This happens when you search from Research Guidance - Suggested Sources tab and when you use the Internet Searches on the Internet Ribbon. Hope that clarifies.
