Evelyn, I tested this out in the sample database. I added myself as an
unlinked individual. Then in family view, I added first one set of parents,
and then another set of parents. I'm assuming this is similar to the (if not
the same) method you used. If I select the first set of parents on family
view, then select ancestor book report, it runs for those parents & their
ancestors. If I select the second set of parents on family view, the ancestor
book is for them & their ancestors. Beyond that, I don't know how to combine
those reports.................. well, you could combine two reports in the
publishing center, but really they would be two separate chapters still. What
is your ultimate objective? --Paula in Texas

Subject: [LegacyUG] Ancestor Book - biologic & adoptive parents

I would like to have the Ancestor Book (narrative) show both sets of parents
for an individual. I have found 'multiple lines of descent' information, but
nothing on multiple lines of ACCENT. Is this possible?

If this is NOT possible, how do I get the report to follow the adoptive line
instead of the biologic line?

Thanks for your help!
