... if I carry on with this I might end up answering my own query. I guess this 
is not a bug but it most certainly is wrong. To change the label on divorce 
would be inconsistent with other labels - the relationship is that between 
partners and not parent and children. I can see that a new label might be 
appropriate but it shouldn't reflect a different relationship - an individual 
on divorce would currently change from say 'Husband' to 'Father'. Otherwise why 
not have them all as parent/child relationships?

The wrong labels only seem to apply where the couple had children and were 
divorced.

Either this is a bug or I'm being a bit slow. In family view some of my 
relatives (mainly first cousins) have labels reading 'Father' and 'Mother'
rather than 'Husband' and 'Wife' or 'Male/'Female'.  I have not changed the 
wording options and these still read as 'Husband' and 'Wife'. I'd not noticed 
this before the last couple of updates.
