Check your default marriage wording screen at Option 8.View Section 8.7 The default wording for a couple who are not married (divorced qualifies) is Father and Mother if there are kids and Male Female if there are no kids.
If you want to change your label wording make the changes there not on the marriage wording screen for the marriage.
