I'm thinking of exporting my entire family file to a .gedcom and reimporting it..
Will exporting it to a Legacy file do that? Do I have to export to a .gedcom 5.1? What other options do I need to choose? Sometimes in the events section remarks seem to get converted to initial caps so that "He owned a farm in Virginia." appears as "He Owned a Farm in Virginia." Is there any way to avoid that? What is the downside to doing this?
