In order to switch from SourceWriter to Basic sources you need to
create a gedcom for Legacy and then import that back into Legacy.

However you will also lose shared events (not supported in gedcom),
history list and all dates added/modified will be changed to the date
you import the gedcom back into Legacy and all data will show as
imported.

In order to know why the event is going to initial caps, we need to
know which event you're using and how you're entering the data.
