Someone else may have noticed this bug, but I have seen no email regarding
it.

When documenting a census event, I transcribe the census record in the Notes
Field. I typically start by pasting the "text" tab contents into each
persons in a census record. Then I Then I highlight the person whose Legacy
Record I am working in. The problem is that when I first Bold the name of
the head of household and save the Event, instead of Bolding the first name,
the system puts a /b in front of the name. After the name has been saved
and I pull it up again, I can delete the /b and Bold the name and then it
holds.

An example is below:

Text/Comments tab contains the transcribed Census Record for this household
as follows:

Elenor McGINNIS, head, white, female, born in Mar 1835, age 65, widowed,
bore 6 children - 4 still alive, born in Kentucky, father born in Kentucky,
mother born in Alabama, able to read write and speak English; Elza V
McGINNIS, grandson, white, male, born in July 1856, age 13, single, born in
Missouri, parents born in Kentucky, attended school, able to read write and
speak English.

When I copy the text (above) and paste it into the Census Event Notes field,
for Eleanor McGinnis, I put in one blank line followed by "1) " just as
Geoff explained in his Census Event DVD. Then I delete the semi-colon after
each person's information and replace it with a period. Then I hit enter
and type "2) " for the second person. And so forth. Before saving the
record I Bold the first name, in this example Elenor McGinnis. After saving
the Census Event, when I reopen the census event it looks like this.

1) \bElenor McGINNIS, head, white, female, born in Mar 1835, age 65,
widowed, bore 6 children - 4 still alive, born in Kentucky, father born in
Kentucky, mother born in Alabama, able to read write and speak English.

2) Elza V McGINNIS, grandson, white, male, born in July 1856, age 13,
single, born in Missouri, parents born in Kentucky, attended school, able to
read write and speak English.

but it should read as follows:

1) Elenor McGINNIS, head, white, female, born in Mar 1835, age 65, widowed,
bore 6 children - 4 still alive, born in Kentucky, father born in Kentucky,
mother born in Alabama, able to read write and speak English.

2) Elza V McGINNIS, grandson, white, male, born in July 1856, age 13,
single, born in Missouri, parents born in Kentucky, attended school, able to
read write and speak English.

This seems to happen only when I paste the information into the note the
first time.

Please see if you can replicate this error.

Thanks.

Dave
