Current version is 473 but that won’t fix the problem. Brian has been informed and given it a priority number to have it fixed. Just have to be patient and wait for another updated version to fix this problem.

I have version 459. All of the individuals with known surnames are female. They all have an UNKNOWN husband. So the "Show List" selection apparently picks up individuals whose married name is UNKNOWN, but displays the maiden name in the list. I deselected "Include Married Names" and "Include Alternate Names" and got the same results. John S. In my case, there are something like 354 people with surnames listed as UNKNOWN, and three people listed before them alphabetically: e.g.: BAKER, Susan A. COMSTOCK, Mary Elizabeth THOMAS, Edward UNKNOWN, John Thomas UNKNOWN, Michael James etc. etc. Hope this explains what is happening. You'll have to be a bit more explicit with the substance of your query. -- Regards, Mike Fry (Jhb) Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://support.legacyfamilytree.com Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
