I need to add a different mother to someone in Legacy, so I unlinked him from his parents. I then added his father and thought I could then add the mother, but Legacy won't let me do it without adding the mother as a spouse to the father, though she is already the father's spouse. This has happened to me before and it drives me crazy! Legacy only allows you to add one parent at a time to an existing person that has been unlinked from their parents, then when you follow the same procedure to add the other parent, it tells you the parent is already a spouse and prompts you to add them again. What is the solution?
