Wendy, To solve the problem of slightly different paths to the media from one computer to another I put the dropbox folder in my root directory I.E. C:\Dropbox on both computers.
Actually, that was in the past when I had two computers. Now I only have one so I just use dropbox for the backups as you have already mentioned. But I still have my dropbox folder right up in the root directory.
