Not good practice. I would treat OneDrive purely as a backup medium and keep images on the PC. I can achieve what you're trying to do using version 7.5 and I suspect the process might be the same on version 8.0 but I can't tell since I only have the "vanilla" options which don't include the Picture Centre. Using the Browse button (if there is such a thing) on the Picture Centre, you can select a folder from which to pick images. In order to use your OneDrive folder, you must know the "true" location of the folder.
