Great feedback from all. I've tried the methods and think it does make sense to keep files on OneDrive. Knowing that Legacy works like libraries and simply links to file locations of source files helped a lot. I also now know where the link to the OneDrive (cloud) is located on my computer. I do use multiple computers and devices so this is a good solution. My sincere thanks to those who answered.
