If you have a major problem you may need to totally uninstall Legacy,
then reinstall from a new copy of the Legacy8setup.exe file. It is
helpful to have saved a backup of all your Customise settings so these
can be reinstalled. This backup file can also be copied to the program
on another computer..
The process for generating this backup file of the customized settings
is fairly straight forward.

1. Go to Documents > Legacy Family Tree. Right-click on the _AppData
folder and a menu will appear.
2. Click on Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a
file _AppData.zip in the Documents/Legacy Family Tree folder, which will
contain your settings..

When you originally set them up, some of the customized settings apply
to all families (gbl) and some of them can be different for each
separate family (ff).

What settings does this backup zip folder contain?

Does it have only the global settings, with all the family file settings
set to default? Or is it all the gbl and ff settings from the last
family file used? Or is it something else?
