Hi Zena,
You're not supposed to send attachments to this list.
However, you've got exactly what I'd expect you to get - a Search List
corresponding to your criteria in the Search: A list of people with Death Notes.
Were you expecting the Death notes to suddenly be visible? They're not. They're
where they were entered.
Go to the Edit tab and click on the + at the End of the Death field and choose
Death notes to see the note.

Unfortunately you can't go to Print on the Search List/Name List and choose
Death Notes as one of the fields to include.
You might want to put in a suggestion for an enhancement.

Hi Zena,
I haven't got that book so not sure what the instructions there are.

What you need is
Detailed Search (Search Ribbon - Find - choose the Detailed Search tab)
Look for whom? Individual
Where to look - Notes-Death
How to look - not equal to
What to look for - make sure there isn't even a space

No other conditions.
At the bottom of the screen make sure
"Clear list before this Search" is checked
Click Create List.

    Hi all,

I have tried to create a list of everyone with death notes.
&n bsp; I have followed the instructions on page 115 of The Official
Unofficial Guide to Using Legacy Family Tree but it only gives me
those with General or Research notes.

    Any thoughts?
